Occupational Health Technician (Slough & Surrounding Areas)
Location: Slough, with travel across the UK
Salary: £27,000 – £28,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 4 days per week (38 hours)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
Greys Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Technician for a peripatetic role based in Slough. This position involves travel to various client sites, delivering health surveillance services. The role requires flexibility, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting health surveillance and screening, including:
- Audiometry
- Lung function testing
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis)
- Accurately recording medical information and maintaining occupational health records
- Ensuring equipment is clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose
- Supporting health promotion activities and non-clinical tasks as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in occupational health, health surveillance, or fitness-for-work medicals
- Willing to travel to different locations, including overnight stays
- Full UK driving licence (Manual)
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills
